Cask Ale
Our Cask/Real Ale selection changes often but will usually include the following.
Sonnet 43 – India Pale
Classic strong pale ale with a gold appearance with a creamy white head which remains throughout the drink. Complex hoppy aroma due to lots of Styrian hops. Delicate fruity malt taste and low in carbonation makes this beer hugely drinkable and sessionable whilst standing out from the crowd.
Sonnet 43 – American
An interpretation of a classic style. It has a pale bronze colour and an exceptionally full-bodied complex character with a spicy and peppery aroma. Generous quantities of premium Cascade, Simcoe, Centennial and Mount Hood hops give this Pale Ale its fragrant bouquet with a fruity, malty and spicy flavour.
Ossett Brewery – Yorkshire Blonde
Fruity Lager-Style Beer. A popular permanent beer, this pale coloured ale is full bodied, well-rounded and slightly sweet on the palate. A generous late addition of Mount Hood hops result in a delicate fruity hop aroma.
Slightly Foxed Brewery – Slightly Foxed
Our session bitter, SLIGHTLY FOXED at 3.8%, is blended using American hops- Amarillo, Delta and Cascade- and Maris Otter malt. Light and refreshing on the palate and pale golden in colour, Slightly Foxed gives a clean, spicy, grapefruit flavour, a light, fruity floral aroma and a clean, dry finish.
Saltaire Brewery – Pride
A classic English pale bitter, with light malt base and spicy fruitiness from the Challenger, Bramling Cross and Cascade hops.
Saltaire Brewery – Raspberry Blonde
Refreshingly blonde ale delicately infused with raspberry flavours.
Ilkley Brewery – Mary Jane
Originally produced as a summer special in 2009. Mary Jane is made with high quantities of Amarillo hops, this pale crisp beer has refreshing citrus aromas and flavours. Gold medal winner at the SIBA Northern region beer competition 2009/10 and bronze medal winner at the SIBA national competition.

Amstel
Amstel beer is named after the river. The Amstel brewery, as a lot of other breweries, was situated close to the Amstel river because clean river water was used to produce the beer.
Peroni
The Peroni company was established under the founding family name in the town of Vigevano, Italy (1846). The company was moved to Rome by Giovanni Peroni in 1864, six years prior to Rome becoming the Italian capital in 1870. Throughout the late 19th and early 20th centuries, the company became one of the most prominent brewing companies in the newly unified Italian nation.
Samuel Adams Boston lager
Samuel Adams Boston Lager helped lead the American beer revolution, reviving a passion for full-bodied brews that are robust and rich with character. Since 1984, Samuel Adams Boston Lager has used only the finest hand-selected ingredients to create this perfectly balanced, complex and full-bodied original brew.
Veltins
The small guesthouse brewery of Franz Kramer opened its simple wooden gates in 1824. Clemens Veltins took over the brewery in 1852. The new name, Brauerei C & A Veltins, came from the twins Carl and Anton Veltins who took over the company from their father in 1893. Veltins brewery produces the well known and highly regarded Veltins Pilsener beer.
Red Stripe
Red Stripe is a 4.7% abv, pale lager brewed by Desnoes & Geddes in Jamaica. It was first produced in 1938 from a recipe developed by Paul H. Cotter (the son of founder E. P. Cotter) and Bill Martindale.
Tetley’s
Tetley’s is the eleventh highest selling beer brand in the United Kingdom. It is the second highest selling ale brand in the world after John Smith’s, with volumes of 700,000 hectolitres.
Strongbow
Strongbow is a blend of bitter-sweet cider and culinary apples, with 50 different varieties of apple used. The apples are grown in England and France.
Blue Moon
The beer is orange-amber in color with a cloudy appearance because it is unfiltered. Blue Moon has a more pronounced orange flavour than many other beers of the style, and also has a slightly sweet flavor. The grain bill for Blue Moon includes malted barley, white wheat, and oats.
Guinness
Guinness is a popular Irish dry stout that originated in the brewery of Arthur Guinness (1725–1803) at St. James’s Gate, Dublin. Guinness is one of the most successful beer brands worldwide. It is brewed in almost 60 countries and is available in over 120.
Fruli
Fruli is a high quality Strawberry Belgian fruit beer, produced at a craft brewery near Ghent. It is a unique blend of white beer and strawberry juice. The juice complements the zestiness of the wheat beer and the result is a balanced and refreshing beer that is packed with strawberry fruit flavour.

Peroni
Brewed from the finest spring planted barley malts, has a unique balanced taste with a delicate aroma arising from the hops of the most exclusive varieties. Young, balanced and sparkling, Nastro Azzurro is the beer for the knowledgeable and demanding consumer.
Desparados
Desperados combines the refreshing bitter taste of beer with the sweetness of tequila. The main ingredients used to create this vibrant tequila beer are malted barley, corn, hops water and tequila.
Becks (Becks Blue)
Brewed under the German Purity Law of 1516, using all natural ingredients. Only after the brewing process is complete is the alcohol removed, producing the distinct, crisp, clean taste you expect from Beck’s bier, but without the alcohol.
Camden Town Hells Lager
Easy-drinking, crisp and dry with beautiful bubbles. Clean and refreshing with a dry hop finish, you can taste the great depth of flavour which comes from the long, slow maturation in tank. This is how a great lager should taste.
Sierra Nevada
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is a delightful example of the classic pale ale style. It has a deep amber color and a exceptionally full-bodied, complex character. The fragrant bouquet and spicy flavour are the results of the generous use of the best Cascade hops.

Samuel Adams Boston Lager is the best example of the fundamental characteristics of a great beer, offering a full, rich flavour that is both balanced and complex.
Flying Dog
Flying Dog Brewery is a beer brewery located in Frederick, Maryland, United States, originally from Aspen, Colorado. They are best known for their pale ales and in 1991, Flying Dog’s “Doggie Style” won the “The Best Pale Ale in America” award at the Great American Beer Festival.
Vedett
Vedett, a blond, light, well hopped premium beer with 5.2% alcohol content, is the cult Duvel Moortgat beer today: following its birth in 1945, it quickly acquired fame and recognition within an intimate circle of insiders in the Antwerp-Brussels region.
Magners – selection
As Magners say: It starts, as so many things do, with light – In this case, bright, Irish sunlight and the gentle Tipperary rain that makes this part of the world so perfect for growing the 17 varieties of sweet, sharp and bitter apples harvested to give Magners Original Irish Cider its unique taste. Our hometown’s name, Clonmel, comes from the old Irish for Vale of Honey.
Kopparberg – selection
Tucked away in the Swedish countryside in the small town of Kopparberg, you’ll find a little brewery with unique tastes. Built back in 1882, the Kopparberg Bryggeri, with its traditional red timber falu walls, remains independent and is today owned by the Bronsman family. The brewery is the home of their uniquely refreshing cider.

Red wine is made from dark-coloured (black) grape varieties. The actual colour of the wine can range from intense violet, typical of young wines, through to brick red for mature wines and brown for older red wines.
